In the second quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Mexico showed varied performance in terms of downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides saw a steady increase in downloads, starting at around 39.7K in early April and peaking at approximately 48.9K in mid-June. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, climbing from 961K in the first week of April to around 1.03M by mid-May, before stabilizing between 994K and 1.02M towards the end of June.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent download rate, with figures fluctuating between 38.7K and 45.5K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users grew from 823K in early April to a peak of approximately 893K by mid-May, maintaining a steady level around 860K to 871K in June.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 17.3K in April and reaching around 23.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users also rose from 302K in early April to about 326K by the end of June, showcasing a steady growth trend.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a moderate increase in downloads from 5.4K in early April to approximately 7.3K by mid-June. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 61K to 63K throughout the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus exhibited slight fluctuations in downloads, with numbers ranging from 5.6K to 6.6K over the quarter. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, moving between 42.8K and 48.6K, indicating a steady user base.
